My insurance gave me the honorific "The" when I asked for a gender neutral version of Mr/Ms. I didn't even know that was an option and now my mail from them comes in as "The (Firstname) (Lastname)" and it makes me smile every time

Fun fact, the 1800s solved this for us, the gender neutral Mr/Mrs is Mage, it just sounds kinda goofy these days lmao I do know a few people who use it tho. I do like THE though, gives some weight/gravitas

In Italy (especially in the north of Italy) we often put the article before the name of a specific person we’re talking about (like: “I’m gonna hang out with THE John”) but the struggle is in Italian you have to use feminine or masculine articles but that would be cool in English
