my dm loves cursing us so here are my favourites: our paladin is completely illiterate and if he tries going somewhere on his own he accidentally gets himself in hell my jester character needed to make someone laugh every 30 minutes or suffer d8 psychic damage our artificer will blow up the whole planet if she stands still for too long my gunslinger fighter gets robbed every 7 days by hermes himself

The immunity to non magical damage was fun, no longer did I have to worry about leaping from rooftops or falling off cliffs, because if that bludgeoning damage from the fall wasn’t magical (or silver), I was fine lol

funny enough im playing a lycanthrope pc in my bfs campaign and we had a discovery that lycanthropes born with it dont transform on the full moon but those that get cursed cant controll it

The funniest thing is there was a 3rd (iirc) edition class called the cancer mage or something and the entire point was you wouldn’t get any disadvantages from plagues or illnesses so you could get the virus that constantly increases strength indefinitely with no drawbacks.

Many years ago, my mom gifted me a D20. I was rolling it and found I never got above a 10. On a closer inspection I found that it was only a d10 but had 1-10 on it twice. I now have a home brewed weapon that auto crits on a hit but they have to use that cursed d20. Making it so it is impossible to even hit some enemies. You can switch weapons every turn using a bonus action, but at the start of your next turn the cursed weapon reappears in your hand
