I love the way they explored the inevitability of doom from different perspectives. You have people like Kafei and Anju who choose to believe in love, the construction crew taskmaster who chooses to bury himself in work, Gorman drowned his sorrows in drinks at the bar. The whole game is an exploration of the inevitability of death, and it's beautiful. ❤
