Or maybe I’m just picky? but I keep going back anyway! (The vibes! The drinks!) EDIT: cuz so many are telling me to eat Korean sweet treats and go to Europe for pastries or that I’m just going to the wrong places: I lived in Seoul, I ate A LOT of different sweet Korean treats! - but sometimes you just want something that’s more like at home - and also it’s also lowkey easier to find a cafe to sit in to study or kill time and they often have more foreign/european style sweet treats / pastry than traditional Korean ones that are more common at tea houses I feel like. The ones with 떡, 빙수 (the more traditional ones, not a chain like sulbing) different types of 약과, 정과, 붕어빵, 약식, 호떡, 꽈배기, or dried persimmons etc feel more restricted to areas that are more traditional with hanoks etc or just smaller, and to be purchased at food markets or at street vendors depending on what it is! I went to SOOO many different cafes several times a week. I had places I loved and places I never went back to. And I can only eat so much salt bread without getting tired of butter… Everyone has different preferences and come with different expectations and earlier experiences- so if you get let down / disappointed or not is very personal - and is something that definitely did not happen to me att all cafes, and definitely not most bakeries! This was supposed to be a silly little video that only reached 1k views like most my content 😀🥰 #cafe #matcha #korea #coffee #fyp
