The lore is not over. Clancy is “dead”, whatever happens next plays out like taxi cab, Josh and the bandito are the two men up front, Clancy was in the hearse. Whatever Clancy they find now is the one that ‘heads towards the sun’ for the last time. In city walls there’s too many car references “buckle down, this is possibly the farthest we’ve reached” and “was this a side swipe or did you picture this in a dream?” So I think theyre in that moment. Tyler looked lost at the show last night. Taxi cab reads like the person in the backseat is slightly out of it. Also, there’s so much of breach that sounds like two people speaking to each other (and I know not all of it is lore but after Tyler dragging song lyrics into it from before blurryface, I threw the rules out the window). And I don’t think it’s just Clancy and torchbearer.

That’s crazy you say that, my 13 year old son has been saying the songs on this new album sound like they could be worship songs for church.. and we don’t even go to church regularly nor actively practice Christianity.
