Do these people think morality didn’t exist in the Middle East, China, India etc before Christ?

Or maybe people at the time of Jesus wanted morality and christianity was young enough to adapt

Nate :
Wait till Ben Shapiro finds out hinduism is the oldest religion in the world and certain morality, like "thou shall not kill" seems like only Christians need to be told that.

So morals didn’t exist in China, Japan, Native America, South America India, Australia until Christianity showed up?!? 🤣🤣🤣 I know for a fact that moral behavior. Interestingly similar to Christianity moral behavior existed in parts of the world for centuries before Christianity. They don’t get to own all morality.

This idea ignores thousands of years of morality before Judaism or Christianity ever existed.

So by this logic, non-abrahamic religions have no moral values?

Humanity is an innate human trait. Our morals stem from our need for community. We are innately kind, empathetic creatures with the capacity for higher abstract thought. Animals care for each other and so do we regardless of religion.

Wrong the answer is evolution, we evolved to have empathy , survival trait and that was way before religion . Empathy is why we share most morality , and morality is still subjective

morality is a lot easier than it seems. why is murder bad? because we can see that the person we kill is no longer here. we know that we want to live and are afraid of dying, so we apply that to others. boom - easy. no god(s) needed

My morality developed from learning that I shouldn’t steal because I dont want people to steal from me. The Golden Rule of do onto others as you would have them do onto you. The fear of hell was NOT a motivator for my decisions. If ypu live in a community you understand what is good for everyone is good for you!

We got morality through evolution. We are a social species and morality helped our species survive and advance 🙄

Christianity wasn’t some global mono belief system. Why are Buddhists, Muslims, Taoists, Hindus etc moral? Because morality is based on common sense, not Christianity.
