and self depicting "humour" is actively harming your self image! if you tell yourself youre not worthy eventually you'll accept it subconsciously or not. positive self talk is beneficial, I started intentionally rerouting those thoughts into kinder ones and almost immediately I started feeling more confident

As someone who doesn’t make themselves uncomfortable, you need to be uncomfortable sometimes. Go to the party you aren’t gonna have fun at, just go! You’ll be surprised how many times you actually have fun when you didn’t even wanna go out in the first place.

What I learned through the years is even doing baby steps is better than nothing! Just put the toothbrush in your mouth even if you don’t have energy to fully brush, put the brush next to your bed even if you only do one swipe through your hair, DoorDash something healthier - baby steps! Rome wasn’t built in a day

getting on the right ssri’s and making myself busy have helped with depression so, so much. i feel so much more in control of my life. i’m happy to get up and go out every day. it was so hard at first but now i’m so grateful for it!
