Maybe you should look at people who are dyslexic and have the problems with theory but not practical! What should happen is not have the theory test and just have a driving lesson and the driving instructor just asks you a couple of questions to pass too!

Hard disagree. Some people just can’t operate with exam conditions. I’m one of them. I passed mine first time (luckily) but the nerves and the environment didn’t help me at all. I’m the same with any exam, doesn’t reflect my ability to actually perform the task though. I failed a software developer certification 3 times before passing it despite me having 4 years experience, working to a high standard, as a developer. My mind just goes blank in exam conditions. Much rather practical demonstrations.

Just increase the price of theory test to 200-300£. So people gonna book the test just when they gonna fell ready.

A quick google search will tell you this is false, the only thing changing are added questions about defibrillators and cpr and more penalties when cancelling. Nothing said about how many attempts you’ll have, it’ll just be harder to retake.
