FMAB is very relevant today, but the whole Ishval plotline is based at least partially on what happened to the Ainu people. I really recommend looking it up to learn about the tragedies that were inflicted on them and learn from history

Recent discourse about FMAB is a little funny to me when people make comparisons to Israel-Palestine when the series was made in the wake of the US’s numerous invasions and conflicts in the ME spanning decades. The war in Gaza is just the newest iteration. Father isn’t in Israel, Father is in Washington.

This is true but you have to be intentional with this thought. They are people on the far right that have watched and do not use critical thinking , and on the far left who do not use critical thinking. There are no questions that should be asked or put against groups of color or women for any legislation. So when we got people attacking women’s rights over there body’s and affirmative action being annuxed , that’s when the masses need to start realigning. So I agree heavily but I do see how people just take this and go “fake news” with out acknowledging others experiences and not others “feelings” feelings are true and lived but experiences are as well generationally felt and lived but entirely differently and deeper in my opinion.
