Ok to be fair....I was her. But the back story for me was I was abusive with money and got into credit card debt and hid it from my husband. Now he was mad but wouldn't act like that but he did help me by making sure I didn't drain the acct again by giving me a Cash App he'd deposit money in to.

I had a co-worker and her husband was very controlling. She was given a grocery budget and when she got home, with the items he would check the receipt. I thought he was a jerk until I got the other side of the story. She had a terrible prescription med addiction. If she had cash then she was too tempted to buy. This is an arrangement the two of them made to help her stay clean. She never mentioned this side of the story.
