After high school running is not over. Find a college running group and do road races. I have made the best friends running and the races are fun!

I'm in my late 30s and just picked up running as a hobby 3 years ago.. I got injured June this year on my knees and still not cleared to run going to half a year now.. actually registered for my first marathon next year it's so sad I had to back out. it's depressing I can't run.. not even walk pain free. been crying alot.. thank you for this encouragement.. I'm hoping for better days ahead and be able to run soon 🙏

Do you do any training in the pool? I was a xc runner and with injuries my coaches had me do training in the pool and it helps SO much keep up with endurance and not be so hard on your bones and joints

If you are still interested in cheering. In college they have to try out every year. My niece is your size was a flyer runs cheer camps works at Oklahoma university as coach?? She’s 40 still same size 🤷♀️❤

I’m not a runner, however in 2015 I shattered part of my spine and my doctor would not release me to go back to the career I worked hard for 🥺 so I do understand possibly losing something you love. DON’T GIVE UP you’re awesome!

Another thing that I hope will stick with you is that when you KNOW something is "off," keep pushing for answers, medical or otherwise. Thankfully you did NOT just keep running as the 1st dr. said! YEe-OWCH! That coulda been BadBad. But here you are! Nowww, more safe and still AweSommmeeee!
