Before you direct me to men’s clothing.. been there, done that. Neither men’s or women’s has 41.5” inseam and I’ve always dreamed of owning a pair of cute bell bottoms / flared jeans (women’s)! Was just looking for a pair of Bear Paw boots for winter (they usually carry a women’s size 13 in the tall boot) and Google doesn’t even have the option to look for a specific size. They have shape, style, color, price, etc no ‘size.’ All that’s being pulled up in my “Bear Paw size 13 women’s” search are tons of websites with options up to size 9 or size 11. When I do manage to find a pair of shoes or pants that fit, I wear them every day and I wear them out, until they are falling apart with holes in them and have to be replaced or patched up. Things have gotten exceptionally worse since 2020. I don’t understand why.. companies keep saying that they’re “delivering an optimized shopping experience” yet keyword search results no longer yield the same or similar searches that they did, previous to 2020. Shopping is a nightmare and makes me feel ugly. I thought it would get better as I got older, no. It’s worse. Tall brands only go up to 36”-37” inseam bc there aren’t many of us around with a 41.5” inseam. Companies are making spaces smaller such as airplanes, trains, etc.. It’s really disappointing and makes me feel subconsciously unwelcome. I wish I had the money and talent to make my own clothes and shoes, at the very least, to make myself more comfortable in society. I believe every ‘body’ should have access to clothes that fit, literally, wtf. I know it’s a “me” problem, I just wanted to vent.😤🥀💔
