Happened to my husband — he was asked to be a best man, said we weren’t sure if we could even attend, and then when we went on the website to RSVP “No” we saw they had put him as the best man anyways. Had to scramble and buy flights and a hotel room.

My husband got all of his groomsman whiskey to ask him and handled all of the gifts/suit fittings/etc himself. Same for every time he’s been a groomsman! That’s wild lol

While I couldn’t afford a whole bridesmaid proposal with gifts etc, I at least had my bridesmaids round for dinner and TOLD THEM. To not even be told you’re a groomsman and find out by chance is insane 😂 how does the groom organise suits/transport/a stag do without letting them know???

After my fiancé was asked with a bottle of wine to be in a wedding last year, I said that he had to do something of at a minimum similar energy to ask his crew: custom leather can koozies, a can/bottle opener, and a cigar for each 🤪
