@daddiestothree: Proactive Peace: Healing Our Nation From the Bottom Up Episode 1 This is the start of something new. I’ve been watching our country spiral and I keep seeing people say, “I’ve lost hope.” And as a Dad, I cannot let that be the story my kids inherit. ❤️‍🩹 So I’m stepping into full on Papa Jake mode 👨 and starting a series called Proactive Peace. My hope is that it becomes a grassroots movement to restore faith in humanity, build bridges, and heal our nation from the bottom up. 🫶 Think of it like this: have you ever been in an argument where one person started it, but the way you both handled it made it everyone’s fault? That’s where we are as a nation. It’s time to drop our egos (not our convictions) and learn to live in peace. Some people will call that naive, cheesy, or cliché. But these are the basics we teach our kids—the foundation of a healthy society—and we’ve forgotten them. We all deserve safety, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness. And if we can’t learn to coexist with people who think differently, we’ll never even get to the real policy solutions. I know people on both sides who sincerely want this.
