*puts on tinfoil hat* it's because they want to prosecute us but they have no actual legal way of doing it. also a state (I think it was texas but do not quote me on that) introduced a bill that would allow the governor to revoke passports of people who materially support terrorist organizations. these two things paired together would effectively allow the government to trap us here. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SAY THIS IS ME BEING A CONSPIRACY THEORIST. I'm not saying this is what's going to happen, I'm just saying it's posible.

They're demonizing the trans community because it's considered a "weak link" due to lack of acceptance. You know a simple solution to this bathroom issue? Have family bathrooms that are unisex instead. Not everything need to be divided all the time. One person both of the two bathrooms, in one location. Also if we turn gay marriage over to the states, how long before we let the sates decide it's okay to just make it illegal? Why does someone's religion get to control aspects in /my/ life? Especially when I haven't met these people voting on that policy. It's crazy a stranger can prevent my marriage.

Degree in National Security Studies. It’s because they come after the most marginalized in societies first to test public reactions on how much they can get away with before they apply it to other groups. It’s a way to temper reactions. It has nothing to do with trans people specifically. It has everything to do with rolling back rights that will protect others when they start coming for groups that aren’t the most minority.
