Show & yap about one piece mini & mono dental implants for removable acrylic snap in dentures … permanent cemented zirconia bridges/arches & also semi permanent (removed by dentist for cleanings) bridges w one piece implant systems. Trying to provide some clarity bc even temporary or custom based/individualized set ups due to change of plans/failures etc can be confusing bc it really depends what you start with & what your ultimate goal is. The more removeable the prosthetic the less implants are used. The more fixed it is either larger implants are used & less of them or more of them if you go w minis. Mono implants are one piece dental implants that are standard size in diameter (same size as screw retained two piece implants they’re just one piece with a different function that isn’t screw based but cement based). Mini dental implants are less than 3mm in diameter so they can be used for a wide range of things from individual teeth w a crown to partial bridges or full arch restorations. They can be used with cement based prosthetics or with removable snap in acrylic dentures. I currently have 12 upper mini implants since 2022 with 6 of them being used originally with snap in dentures from 2019-2022. My new lowers are mono implants and full sized so now I have 5 bc they’re larger in diameter but they’re also cement based so the goal once healed will be a new cemented lower zirconia bridge 🥰 Happy to answer any questions hopefully this is helpful but idk😂 #dentalimplants #minidentalimplants #snapindentures #permanentteeth #monoimplant
