😮‍💨 233 Cal Meatball Sub Sliders 📍 These Meatball Sub Sliders and all my best recipes can be found in my app. 🔗’s in my bio! ✅ Macros for each Slider: 233 Cals, 12g Carbs, 7.5g Fat, 21g Protein ✳️ Ingredients for Meatballs (makes 12): 32oz (2lbs) 96/4 Lean Ground Beef 50g Yellow Mustard (low cal hack for juiciness) 30g Grated Parmesan 16g Fresh Parsley 4g Fresh Basil 6 Cloves Minced Garlic 1 ½ tsp Sea Salt 1 tsp Black Pepper 1 tsp Dried Oregano ✳️ Rolls & Toppings: 12 King’s Hawaiian Rolls 180g Part Skim Mozzarella (15g per roll) 200g Pizza Sauce ❇️ Directions: 1️⃣ Hollow out the center of each hawaiian roll to create a hole for the meatballs. Lightly spray with non stick olive oil spray and season with a pinch of garlic powder. Bake on 375 degrees F for 4-5 minutes until lightly toasted. Set aside. 2️⃣ Now for the meatballs. In a large bowl, combine all your meatball ingredients and mix. Then portion into 12 meatballs (about 3.1oz per). 3️⃣ Preheat a stove top pan to a 7/10 heat. Then add your meatballs to the pan and sear each side of the meatballs. You want a nice crust. Then once all are seared, add your pizza sauce and lower the heat of the pan to a simmer. 4️⃣ Coat the meatballs in the sauce as they simmer so it infuses them with flavor but also makes them juicy. 5️⃣ Now assemble your sliders. Drop a meatball into each slider. These are huge meatballs so you might have to wiggle them in. Add some warm pizza sauce from the pan on top of each. Then add 15g of washed mozzarella (for the cheese pulls) on top of each. Then some fresh chopped basil. 6️⃣ Add back to the oven on broil to melt the cheese and then enjoy! #meatballsub #kingshawaiian #sliders #highprotein #macrofriendly
