@mynorsepaganjourney: As Norse Pagans we love the earth and nature! This spot along the Susquehanna River has been part of my family for generations —a place where my ancestors fished, played, and connected with the land. For me, it's more than a backyard; it's a place where I can feel the presence of the landvættir, my ancestors, the gods, and my family all at once. Coming here reminds me that connection to the land, to history, and to our spiritual paths is something we can all find if we look for it. I encourage you to find a place that grounds you, where you can reflect, honor those who came before, and feel the world around you. For me, this river isn't just water — it's a living memory, a sacred space, and a connection to everything that came beforefund everything yet to come. Where is your sacred place? #nature #river #norsepagan #norsepaganism #norsetok

for me its when I was stationed in Alaska. It's weird because I wasn't a norse pagan when I was there but thats when I new that the Gods and nature were calling me. I didn't convert to Norse paganism until I left Alaska. but my soul and I crave Alaska more than ever and when I retire in 2 years thats where me and my family will move to. I feel like if I am there that I will connect better to the Gods (not that I am now) just a feeling in my gut that that is where me and my practice will strive more.
