I lost my two oldest daughters five years ago. One was 14 and the other was 12. Accident. I will never recover. Watching them die never leaves my mind. I do experience signs.

Absolutely the most horrific and debilitating pain, mixed with such indescribable emptiness...I am so sorry that you lost your boy. I lost my son Nick at 24. He was intoxicated and crashed his car into a cement road barrier. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. So unfair. Forever...really is such a long time.

We lost our son on Father's day this year almost exactly the same way. I remember the feeling of shock when the neurologist told us this wasn't survivable. I was in shock, but I also remember how much God clearly showed up and gave us all so much peace.
