Girl, I went through the same my daughter father was locked up during 10 years. I literally had to get an overnight job for me to be able to drop off my daughter in the morning and pick her up when she get out of school thank God my mother was there to help me

u def read my mind ! the job economy is not designed to benefit motherhood or parenthood period. it’s like society expects us to stay home and have flourishing businesses. well… that takes YEARS. single moms don’t have years to make cheese for her egg(s). literally. it’s an immediate need to survive. the way of life we’re subjected to disgusts me fr 😒. & HEAVY ON BEING THERE FOR THE MILESTONES / DEVELOPMENT
