but in the end, it doesn't matter how someone treats me now, I'm willing to accept that part of them until they realize that they need to change. if they don't change, then it's too bad. but if they do, I'm willing to stay by them. even if it's little improvements, it's not perfection I want, I want effort. I want to see and notice that they are trying to change themselves. but as of now, they haven't changed. maybe they really are going through something and maybe it's also not a way I'd go about it. but I have to remember that not everyone thinks and acts the way I do. I can't look at someone on the autism spectrum and say they are a horrible person just because of how they go about things and while having problems doesn't justify ones actions, maybe they haven't realized that in the moment. maybe in the future, they'll realize and regret. or maybe they won't care. but I want to still believe in them. because in the end, we are all humans. nobody understands what humans are. they is no one to tell us what a human should be. we are messy and messed up. but we can also choose not to be. and now, I choose to stay and be kind still, even to the meanest people. because there is a chance they can change. and I will be there when they finally realize it. The keyword is maybe. because I solely live life having faith in people.
