You’re absolutely right, however, as I’m sure you’re aware, it definitely helps to learn and know a birds body language. I know when my cockatoo starts clicking his beak or spreads his tail feathers I need to be on alert! 😂

Yes my rose breasted but thru my ear and it took me too long to be brave again, so now we are working on rebuilding trust. I had to overcome my fear first because when he knew I was still afraid he kept trying to bite me

Same…I have a Conure ( I may of commented this already so forgive me if I’m repeating) but ever since my Conure turned 6 I’m all torn up, Pennie was a perfect bird until April 15th 2025 lol I guess hormone season kicked in but now I have to wear a knit hat when he’s out to cover my ears….an I’m crazy like you I’ll still kiss him and let him sit on my shoulder which I feel so bad to remove him from my shoulder it’s his jam 🤣
