the company i work for does once a quarter volunteer days and we generally go to the food bank to help package up senior meals or other meal kits. it is so fulfilling and if we get there after another group we hustle to beat what they packaged up lol

Ft Collins Food Bank & Vindeket Foods (our “Pay What You Want” grocery store) volunteer here! You’re 100% right about how easy it is, it’s mostly moving boxes & crates, picking through produce, putting kid’s snack bags together, helping people carry stuff out; basically like working in the back of a regular grocery store. The people that come through are so thankful & kind!! Good fuel for the soul!!
