So, the first day my boss went on vacation, one of our regular clients came in. She visits every two months from Sweden or Switzerland, not sure exactly. While I was doing her highlights, I noticed she had lice. I’d never dealt with that before, so I just kept going and tried to stay calm. I finished her hair, then asked my assistant to get disinfectant so we could clean everything after. When we were done, I took the client outside and told her about it privately. I was so embarrassed, but I really tried to handle it the right way

So I had live abt a year ago and as you may know lice lay eggs called nits and when they lay the eggs they like glue them to your hair so they are REALLY hard to get out and I went and got a treatment done and it kills the lice and the nits but we couldn’t get the nits out of my hair they aren’t gonna hatch so now they are just sitting there so I went to go get highlights last week and they kicked me out bc the nits where still in my hair even tho they have been dead for over a year we just can’t get them off my hair and have been waiting for them to grow out do you think I could go to a different salon that doesnt know abt it or should I try to get them out

When I was 13 I went in to get my hair done and they saw I had lice so they stoped everything, grabbed the manager, talked to my mom and then she talked to me about it so then they just rinsed out my hair since they did already start stuff and then told me to go home and treat it then come back.

Happened to me once but the stylist wa super nice about it, she had already started brushing my hair before noticing so since she’s have to disinfect it anyway she finished brushing my hair out and put it in a nice braid for me

Not even joking the second one happened to my step-daughter on my wedding day!!! They refused to do her hair for my wedding and put it into a bun and told us that we still had to pay for the service we didn’t get and my poor stepdaughter was so distraught and the whole salon knew, I was shocked

If I ran a hair salon I would have cheap lice kits in the back and tell the a lice clinic if they want it to get removed liek as soon as possible
