@angela_adkins_: ✨ What a powerful night in downtown St. Marys GA! Thank you so much to all who came out for this special ceremony in our little town. ✨ On Saturday, Sept 20th, we held a beautiful Vigil honoring Charlie Kirk. In just 5 short, very busy days— I with the help of Jessica, Peggy, and guidance from June—everything came together, and around 100-125 people joined us to honor Charlie’s life. 🙌 Families and friends spread out on the lawn around the Amphitheater Stage at the Waterfront Park, and some even pulled up in golf carts to take part. We were especially moved by the heartfelt letter from our Mayor, Greg Lockhart, beautifully read aloud by Councilman Chad Ingram. 💙 All of our speakers—Pastor Randy, June, Chad, and myself—shared from the heart, and they each did an amazing job. Together we remembered not only Charlie’s public work, but his greatest mission: boldly sharing Jesus Christ everywhere he went. May we be vessels of God like Charlie was that courageously, prayed, daily “Lord, here I am, send me.” He wanted God to use him. And God did, in powerful ways. All of the speakers did a wonderful job, and Anna Blackshear blessed us with her beautiful voice as she sang both the National Anthem and Amazing Grace during the lighting ceremony. 🎶 Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Pastor Randy Dockery, June Maxwell, Chad Ingram, Anna Blackshear, Jessica Errico, Peggy Beutel, and my producer of The Angela Adkins Podcast, Kanan St.Rose, for making this vigil possible. Kanan went above and beyond—providing a portable PA system and capturing photos so we can share this special night with you all.
