Don’t you think that Peacemaker proved that it’s not over? Us fans just want quality over quantity and Disney (Marvel) has been horrible with all their IP over the past few years. The biggest thing that needs to happen is the execs need to stay out of it and let directors/producer fans to work on these projects.

I’ve read all of spawn up to 355 and honestly there’s about 100 decent issues.. I think spawn would be great if someone was able to fully reboot the character and make him not such a huge piece of shit that basically never changes as a person

So many super hero movies focus on world building with other characters to churn out more movies (and thus make more money). Spawn would be a great choice for mature stories that stay contained within its own universe. No need to bloat the budget; just be true to the character and the world they exist in.. and hire awesome writers!

They need real back stories that make you want to see the final arc of a hero. The build up is everything that makes it a success. Imagine justice league as high school kids who just get their powers . A stranger thing vibe . Do that for both villains and heroes and then watch the take off .

Dude forgot why they made image to began with comic code aka censorship, now it’s more about money any comic can be great if done right BUT majority have no knowledge of comics too its a double edge sword, Dredd is proof of that great movie and underrated yet it didn’t do good in box office

Spawn could be great but I can't help but wonder if it's Todd that is the problem. He has spent millions on baseballs and has been talking about another Spawn movie since at least 2006. Other producers are probably wondering if he's so confident in the character- why isn't he investing in the movie? And if he's not willing to invest in the movie, why should they? I know he intends it to be a horror mystery from the perspective of Sam & Twitch so a $3m budget with one of those modern indie horror masters is perfect.
