Most Canadians do not support this. If Canada wants to act responsibly, we should follow Singapore’s lead: Singapore says it will recognise a Palestinian state only when there is an effective Palestinian government that accepts Israel’s right to exist, categorically renounces terrorism, and when recognition would advance a negotiated two-state solution. Singapore has also condemned settlement expansion and signalled targeted measures against settler leaders while stressing recognition should help peace, not inflame it.

it's not the time to recognize Palestine as a state? When shall it be? when 100,000 people are dead due to Israeli govt bombing? or 1M are dead?
