My players returned to the druid grove, and the druids were now clearly charmed. PC's: "Cool, we're going to bed". The druids drop the name of an antagonist. PC's: "Ok, I'm sleeping in this room". Later, they're woken up, "You hear a large gurgling sloppy mess slide by the door to your room". PC's, "Not my grove not my fight". The next morning, "Yeah, your magical talking plant who that antagonist was clearly looking for and you left in the grove, they're gone now". PC's: "What!? That's not fair!"

I did not touch the clearly cursed crown that would have turned me into an avatar for a snake God. But, I did immediately put on the ring I found. The next full moon I awoke away from camp, clothes tattered, and covered in animal blood.
