Wait…the panda stuff isn’t common knowledge? Do people know about the emu wars in Australia? My husband keeps suggesting I might be on the spectrum and now I’m starting to wonder if he was serious. I thought he was just teasing me for always needing to wear socks (I can’t walk barefoot on the floor). But I have accumulated a wealth of fun facts, and have a fixation on learning ancient textile crafts so now…damn.

When I was in grade 11 my English teacher asked for an example of dramatic irony and I said well Macbeth thinks he can’t be killed because the witch told him that “no man born of a woman” can harm him but we know that Macduff was born via c-section. He then said, no that’s not it. And I replied by saying are you confused about dramatic irony or are you unfamiliar with what a c-section is? Then he freaked out and sent me to the office. I was so confused. My mom (through hysterical laughter) told me that was a rude way to phrase the question. 🤷♀

Fun fact, pandas do mate! The reason we had so much trouble with it is because females are only fertile for about three days per year, and pandas won’t mate if they don’t have privacy (humans are very nosey)
