What’s wild to me is they’re not even saying is acetaminophen or paracetamol. Tylenol is just the name brand. It’s like blaming xerox and saying photo copies are fine.

There are numerous studies by legitimate researchers from places like Harvard, UCLA and Johns Hopkins, that show a correlation between Tylenol and autism. They haven’t established causation (since there is a reason pregnant women are taking Tylenol which may be more closely related to cause). The recommendation from the researchers is to limit Tylenol use during pregnancy until the issue of causation is established or rejected. They also say that Tylenol is the preferred treatment for fever during pregnancy, but the potential risk of Tylenol should be weighed when using Tylenol during pregnancy.
