@leakedghost: 4 billion light years away, this gigantic cluster of galaxies barely represents 5% of the total mass of this region. What you’re looking at is NASAWebb image of the Pandora’s Cluster. This mega-cluster formed through multiple collisions and now contains ~500 galaxies. With an average of 250 billion stars each, that’s roughly 125 trillion stars bound together in one cosmic structure. But here’s the wild part — most of its mass isn’t even stars. About 75% is dark matter and another 20% is hot gas, leaving less than 5% as visible galaxies. That’s why it bends light so powerfully, acting as a gravitational lens that reveals even more distant galaxies hiding behind it. Every point of light here is either a galaxy inside Pandora or one magnified far beyond it. A true time machine in the sky. Credit: NASA, ESA, CSA #Astronomy #JWST #NASAWebb
