thank you for sharing this experience. I live in Trinidad for many years but I am not Trinidadian and I have been always encouraging people to be courteous with each other, use discretion and apply some level of discernment when dealing with the public. Many people are not trained well from home which means that if they are hired they will simply have bad manners and will lack understanding. It is the company's or the organization's responsibility ,if they hire them, to train them well on what they lack and also to constantly reinforce it. Many times training is done but nobody checks if what is taught is applied in practice every day. Many times the supervisors and managers are also very weak in maintaining standards.

When you address people as 'Uncle' 'Father' or 'Mother', Moms,' you've already begun to disrespect them. They're old and no longer matter. They are not teachers, engineers, doctors, scientists, businessmen/women, lawyers, bankers, etc. They don't deserve to be addressed as 'Sir' or Miss/Ma'am or feel like they still matter.

Why didn't you record it, we needed to do better. I'm the same way and got a ticket in Chaguanas mail road from a police officer which didn't care and I never left the car but was waiting for my daughter who did live the car. He was very racial tone, so I got a ticket not knowing that I was not or should of waited there. I told the Officer I'm not from the area so really didn't know better, yes I to have a disability and was in so much pain. I tell you, I've not gone back to Chaguanas after that day. The Officer could of simply been more professional, I'm in my 60s, but he didn't care.

They have horrible customer service. But that saying you referring to i dont agree with it. See how he didnt answer. i have a friend that speaks very disrespectful to me regularly by using obscene language. to some persons its ok, but i dont like it. I hate it. Every body that kniws me knows i dislike this way of speaking. She does it any way. i dont ever reciprocate. i think by dealing with her the way i like to be spoken to will tub off on her. But i wasting my time. She constantly does it and i will never stoop to that level and have a normal conversation with her and use obscene. I do like uncle and dont speak like that. To me That has nothing to do with customer service,I have a small business and some customers come in and speak to me that way and because of who I'VE BECOME", I 99% of the time no longer match energy,some come with their kids so think what they teaching by learnt behavior, then they want to say young people.Can you imagine her kids behavior
