@kirstinczernek: This morning, I was in the middle of the before school craziness and I see out of the corner of my eye Aria feeding Luca 🥹. I can’t even explain to you all how good she is with him, she’s so gentle and really acts like a little mom to him, she’s literally obsessed 🥰. When he’s gone at the hospital, she signs baby asking for him. For a few days after his hospital admission when I go to get her from her room in the morning, she runs right to his room checking if he’s there and then after a few days she stops and it always breaks my heart. It’s like she hasn’t fully understood but maybe understands too much all at the same time 😭. They have a unique connection. I know they both have Down syndrome and it’s easy to assume that’s what it is but I don’t know it feels more than that, it feels spiritual. Like they have a direct line to Heaven that they both know about and are experiencing a reality different from ours, I don’t know, I don’t know if we’ll ever know, but it’s tangible. I’ve waited for these simple moments for a year, and I’m loving them 😭 I don’t want to miss anything. Thank you Jesus for these sweet souls ✨ #downsyndrome #leukemia #Siblings #fyp #foryoupage
