The movie was sad only because she didn’t deserve to die like that. All she did was yell at him, and he lashed out and then tried to avoid tue consequences for his actions. I get they were accidental, but you don’t raise your hands without meaning to. He hit her on purpose and then tried to get out of it simply because she died from it. This movie is what I mean when I say men will hide from accountability until their last breath. If he would have honestly stayed and talked with the police, I feel like his sentence wouldn’t have been half as bad as it ended up being as well 🤷‍♀
