@leahhopehealth: I already know the kinds of comments I’m going to receive on this video, so let me clarify a few things up front. 😂 No, I didn’t eat everything you see on the screen. No, I don’t eat like this on a regular basis. No, I didn’t feel bloated or sick ever. No, I didn’t gain weight on this trip. This trip was 5 days, 3 full days and 2 half days. I walked 15-20k steps most days so staying active makes it possible to eat more calories throughout the day. I was mindful of getting a good amount of protein in every day but I also indulged without overindulging (there’s a difference!) in foods I love and foods that sounded good to me like pizza and treats! Here’s the truth: I still LOVE food and it brings me joy! It’s part of the overall experience and enjoyment of traveling for me! But I’m no longer DEPENDENT on food to bring me joy or as my main source of joy. And that’s what makes it possible to eat all kinds of foods in moderation!
