Safety nets are important, experience has taught me. Hard work AND extreme luck are required to succeed as an artist (in my experience). Risk taking is important, but not everyone has the financial safety net to move somewhere without guaranteed income. Planning is a lifeline for many! Happy things worked out for you 🩷

Yess sometimes you can build the safety net as u go but u can’t get the things you want without the risk!! Money is something you can make in so many different ways but the thing you want is so much more rare and harder to get without risk sometimes
