Wallah when I was younger I did the most! Ocean view condo, top of the line Mercedes off the lot, designer clothes, I was making more money than I ever dreamed! Everyone wanted to be my friend! And back then (I was about 22 years old) and I gladly spent the money for a “rockstar lifestyle” I lost myself, my beliefs, my morals, my foundation, and eventually my family. Now that I’ve grown, humbled myself, gave up sooo much of this dunya to get closer to Allah, my Deen and my family! The most valuable things in life can’t be bought, allhumdulillah, I agree that a simple life is much more peaceful than the trying to impress people that don’t even matter
