The reason people care about Kimmel getting kicked cancelled is because it was the *direct* result of Trump’s FCC publicly threatening ABC. It’s not that people love or even care about Kimmel, but that the White House had direct involvement in it.

I didn’t cancel my subscriptions out of support for Jimmy Kimmel, IDC about him. The fact the a government entity, the FCC, used their power to restrict free speech in violation of the 1st amendment is why I cancelled. That’s the difference between his situation and the other folks you mentioned. I don’t watch MSNBC, CNN etc due to their various firings of Black folks
