Requiem gives a stand the power to interact with souls (requiem meaning a ceremony for the dead, linking it to souls) the reason CR was able to swap souls is because of this now for GER it puts diavolo in a death loop by transporting his soul into others when they die so Diavolo experiences every single death from everywhere.
