As a child of Divorced parents, I think you’re entitled to talk about your feelings & your pain. You don’t have to drag him but you can talk about how you feel, what u need & what you’re doing for yourself. I experienced a very similar relationship to what my parents had just w/o kids & I have cried for my mom because I can’t imagine how she got over all that pain alone w/ 2 kids being & on top of that as the only provider, working 2 jobs. So grieve, get mad, sad, whatever you need. It will make u a better parent ♥

As someone who went through this recently, I always lead with what's best for my children. Yes, you will feel anger, sadness, and all the emotions, but it's no longer about the husband and wife. Now, it's about mom and dad, and how you chose to do that will play a significant role on how your kids will respond.
