I'm a dentist. on dental school the amish community near me brought all of the kids at once on one day to the dental school for cleanings and fillings. I spent hours and hours with those kids. let me just tell you they have a high instance of autism that goes undiagnosed.

Dude I worked at a family practice in rural ny surrounded by Amish and the WOUNDS AND RASHES that people came in with because they wouldn’t go to the doctor until things were at their absolute worst. I’ve never seen anything like that since working there and that was 8 years ago.

Indiana here. One of my husbands best friends is Amish. They use Tylenol. They eat Doritos, Snickers, McDonald’s, and Mexican food like it’s going out of style. They have iPhones!!!!
