@frodo617: Since my late 40s around 7 years ago, I’ve suffered from severe Restless Legs Syndrome, also known as Wills-Ekbom Disease. Tying a sock tightly around my feet doesn’t work, magnesium cream or a weighted blanket helps a little, but Pramipexole (“Sifrol”) as used in Parkinson’s Disease does work. I take an extended release version which helps for around 20 hours or so but takes around two hours to take effect. This is what the disease looks like while I’m waiting for the Pramipexole to take effect. If I walk around or even concentrate on something this immediately stops, but relaxing is impossible without the medication. Sleeping would be non-existent and therefore quality of life would be awful without the medication.
