I use geothermal to run a separate power grid that only runs the water pumps for my nuclear reactors. No matter if I trip the power on my main circuit, I always have water pumping to my nuclear reactors to restart them.

I've played satisfactory randomized a couple times, and I was blown away with how awesome geothermal generators were both times. I'm currently on my first playthrough where I'm intending to beat the game. I basically rushed geothermal generators

I have massive batteries I use to help carry over any dips in power, like when my nuclear reactor is missing fuel a little too long. and it helps with the dips in geothermal

wait am I the only one who's using 1 power grid to run thw whole factory i have like 2k mw from coal and like another 7k mw from fuel gens and I just string it all together with power lines I never trip a fues as long as I keep and eye on it for when I need to add more power. am I just weird ?

The geothermal power is super cool but my neurotic ass can’t stand when my power fluctuates. I remember one time after a particularly long session I went to bed and had stress nightmares about my power fluctuating. Woke and found out it actually was when I booted up! I need that straight line!

im playing a challenge where I try to be as respectful to the planet as possible, only removing as little foliage as needed to get to coal, then I rushed on geothermal power and removed the coal plants.just headcannon things :)

What they are super duper useful for is all of the crash sites that require power, there is always a conveniently placed Geyser nearby.
