As a person born and raised in miami it’s very affordable just have to look for places to stay out of your comfort zone. You got to learn how to manage money stop eating out a lot. Our parents made it off with less because they don’t do all the things we do now like vacation, eat out, high car notes, stay in fancy places, shop for clothes and shoes every month.

I work in tech sales clearing 120k a year. After taxes, 401k, child support. I am still living paycheck to paycheck. Sigh. Miami is expensive get into sales and move abroad. Latin America is where it’s at if you can get an online job.

Honestly to have a chance at the American dream is best to marry fairly early says few years post college . Both partners work 3-5 years climbing up the ladder, investing and saving . Get into a career that is progressive enough with a trajectory to go from staff to senior or executive level by the time you are in 40s. Continue to improve ones skill and career prospects set via certifications , networking , switching jobs every 3-5 years . Avoid high car payments and credit card debt . Best of luck to all 🙌🏿🙏🏿
