Believe it or not... they’re not as high as everyone makes them seem! 🎃🍁 Today’s 30 year Mortgage Rate in MI: 6.37% To help put this into perspective, I created a breakdown of average 30-year mortgage rates going all the way back to the 1990’s to show you the changes and how truly consistent (ish) they’ve been!📍 Quick tip: 30 year rates are typically, if not always, higher than 15 year rates due to 15 year mortgages being a lesser risk to lenders, shorter term, less interest paid, and allows you to gain equity quicker. All things considered - and given everything the US economy has gone through over the years - mortgage rates really aren’t as bad as they might seem at first glance.
