Negative cold solder does not hold against vibrations it will crack faster that a crack hoe

Just used these on a trailer re-wire and used a heat gun as opposed to a lighter. Worked great! I did melt the shrink wrap a couple times but still love the connectors!

the process doesn't pull the solder into the wires. they're ok in a pinch.

First the lighter doesn’t get hot enough. Iv used these for a couple years and have had no issues. I use a heat gun and they work good.

Good for interior but I only trust actual Solder with actual shrink wrap for exterior stuff

They work sometimes. Most of the time the heat shrink burns through before solder melts.

I use those all the time at work those are my favorite thing I just slide the wire in there and turn on the heat and it's done and I put the lamp back together and they're renting the room in a couple minutes

u melt the ends first to trap the heat then do the solder in the middle works a lot better n if u feel like not enough protection just add a regular heat shrink after ur soldered heat shrink. but make sure to install reg heat shrink first then do ur soldered heat shrink.
