11 – Clarification about Allah’s Attributes
Allah does not think, plan, or reflect like human beings do. These are qualities of creation, not of the Creator.
When Allah "wills" something, it is considered an action, not a process of thought.
He simply says "Be" and it happens—without the use of words, language, thought, or emotion.
Just as Allah’s Essence is beyond human understanding ("bila kayf" – without ‘how’),
His will and action are also beyond any human-like characteristics.

12 – What Does It Mean That "Adam Was Created in God’s Image"?
Imam al-Ridha (a.s.) was asked about the saying:
“The Prophet ﷺ said, ‘Allah created Adam in His image.’”
The Imam replied:
May Allah curse those people!
They left out the first part of the hadith, which changes the meaning entirely.
Here’s what actually happened:
The Prophet ﷺ passed by two men insulting each other. One man said to the other:
"May Allah disfigure your face and the face of whoever looks like you!"
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"O servant of Allah! Do not say this to your brother, for Allah created Adam in his (i.e., human) image."
📌 Meaning: Adam was created in the form of a human, not in the image of Allah (God forbid).
It does not mean that Allah has a shape or looks like humans.

13 – Explanation of the Verse: "What prevented you from prostrating to what I created with My own hands?"
Someone asked Imam al-Ridha (a.s.):
Allah said to Iblis (Satan):
"What prevented you from prostrating to the one I created with My two hands?"
The Imam replied:
Here, the phrase "My two hands" means My power and strength—not literal hands.
The narrator adds:
I have heard from my teachers that the Imams used to recite the verse like this:
"What prevented you from prostrating to what I created?" (and they would pause here)
Then they would continue:
"With My hands—did you become arrogant, or were you among the proud?"
The meaning is similar to someone saying:
"Will you kill me with my own sword? Will you attack me with my own spear?"
This highlights that Allah is saying:
Even though I gave you blessings and honor, you became arrogant and disobeyed.
