As a mom I don't interfere of my daughter phone bcoz I have a trust in her. Monitoring will make her annoyed.As long as we trust our kids don't force her or strict her .she will find another way and will distance herself to your as her mom.

Bet her own mother did this to her because she been running around (if you know what I mean) and now she putting surveillance on her own daughter because she scared for her to do the same (I know each generation is different compared to the mothers) that girl don’t need surveillance she is having fun with friends and classmates, soon it’ll just be “how come my child didn’t come visit me” 🗣

I came from a strict parent too but not stricter than this and I'm thankful. I understand every parent's concern towards their children however keeping ur child like this is like choking them. You don't have freedom to do the things you want to do such as exploring. I know someone whose parents are like this, when we ask her about a thing she doesn't know a lot because she never experienced them before. For the record, for (kids&teens) them to be able to know their priorities and their goal in life, they have to explore as much as they can because in the future they will only be the one who's gonna suffer for their parents' strictness if they can't figure things out on their own. This is also one of the reasons why there are lots of unemployed people, even tho they are graduates they don't find their graduated-program fun and don't have passion about their majors. It's all because they don't explore things as much as they can. ^^ Let the children be children and teens be teens. We have to remind ourselves that children are not our possession, they only need guidance and support and the rest is their own—let them figure things on their own. P.S. This comment is not applicable for all but we have studies about this stuff. Just search for it! ^^
