I bought some green trousers (a nice, vibrant green) and paired them with a nice white cropped shirt. I got complimented on my outfit whilst on holiday in Italy. When I returned home and wore the same outfit, my teenage son took one look at me and said "okay then Peter Griffin....." and then started singing Bird is the word. The trousers went straight to the charity shop. Mortified.
