@pfinley1982: This is why you don’t trim down wire to make it fit. Brand new contactor, less than 2 years old, and it already melted down. 🔥 Why? Because some knucklehead decided “meh, half a wire is probably good enough.” Spoiler: it wasn’t. Instead of just seating the wire properly, they played “let’s make it fit” and cooked this thing like a rotisserie chicken. 🍗 Pulled the wire out, found the hack job, and installed a new contactor. Now the combi oven is back to life and cranking out food instead of smoke. Yellow wire acted as a jumper wire for control voltage until I came back with a contactor. Lesson of the day: If you can’t install a wire correctly, maybe stick to coloring books instead of electrical work. 🖍️ #FoodserviceRepair #CombiOven #TechFail #DoItRightTheFirstTime
